Claire also loved the spacious shopping basket which is accessible with the carrycot or seat unit in all positions. It can hold a whole packet of nappies and a changing bag!

The Xplory X premium stroller is available from Stokke. It is suitable for babies from birth. It includes an infant pushchair, a chassis and the carrycot which can be positioned flat. But, other accessories like the rain cover must be purchased separately. It's an excellent choice for those who love the look of a modern Scandinavian-designed pram with a unique and functional frame that lets you interact closely with your baby.

The only downside is the cost. Although it's cheaper than other 2-in-1 prams, the complete set still costs more than PS1,000. This is especially difficult to accept when there are alternatives like Thule Spring. Thule Spring which is lighter and smaller and costs half as much.

Thule's strollers are renowned for their durability, and I've seen them put through the wringer at the Thule Hillerstop HQ in Sweden. To test the strength and quality of their prams they drop them from high places and crash down slopes, then run over a bumpy track in the snow. They look fantastic!
